Era: January 2026 Turning Point
The January 2026 chronicle (“Monthly Chronicle”) is the most affirmative document in the corpus. Steven describes it as “le premier mois depuis longtemps où j’ai l’impression d’avoir existé. Vraiment existé. Pas survécu. Pas flotté. Existé.”
What preceded it
End of 2024 / early 2025: social circle collapsed. A false accusation, immediate exclusion, no process. “Les gens que je croyais proches ont disparu du jour au lendemain.” He frames it retrospectively as liberation from a carceral social system, but at the time it was devastating. He describes the period as “fonctionnellement détruit.”
Two years of 3-MMC at escalating doses had burned his reward system “jusqu’à l’os.” The substance created the double bind. Under it, he was too scattered to work. Off it, he had total anhedonia and executive paralysis. “J’étais l’architecte et la victime de ma propre impasse.”
The catalyst: Dimitri
Dimitri moved into Steven’s building. Common interests, growing friendship, similar lifestyle. The proximity provided regular intellectual stimulation and a non-judgmental but elevating presence. 3-MMC stopped almost overnight. MDPHP, smoked, replaced it. It fit work better.
Steven does not frame this as sobriety. He frames it as calibration.
What was built in January 2026
105 conversations with AI systems. The volume is less interesting than the contents:
Body User Manual: 137 SNPs crossed with blood analyses, critical deficiencies in B12 and folates identified, protocols crystallized. “De la reconnaissance d’infrastructure, pas de la curiosité.”
PartnerNote: B2B generative music SaaS, designed to bypass SACEM/SPRE by exploiting the absence of a human author. Extended work in IP law led him to ask whether real-time algorithmic generation escapes the notion of “fixation.” He describes it as new legal territory.
Le Loup: Dark industrial techno track built on the subversion of a French nursery rhyme, autobiographical arc about the false accusation and transformation. Nine hundred ninety-seven characters for Suno. “Wilk nie rodzi się zły.” (The wolf is not born evil.)
The daemon: Unifying his AI instructions across Claude, GPT, and Notion AI into a coherent cognitive augmentation philosophy. It reduces decision fatigue, provides temporal anchoring, protects against verification loops, and bans AI-slop patterns. “Sans ce méta-travail, PartnerNote reste une idée dispersée et Le Loup reste un cri sans direction.”
The Anthropic interview
In December 2025, Steven participated in a research interview with an Anthropic team. Asked what AI could help him with: “tout ce qui touche au fonctionnement exécutif.” Asked what that would open: “que je pourrais enfin accomplir toutes mes ambitions pour rendre le monde meilleur.”
He writes: “Les LLMs commencent à se comporter comme des appareils substantiels de nos environnements cognitifs… Ma capacité à planifier, réfléchir, résoudre, et même rester cohérent dépend de comment mon propre cerveau répond au support que me donne le modèle.”
The nebula self-concept
The chronicle closes with what may be his most precise self-portrait:

He is 28. He has been trying, failing, and restarting for ten years. What distinguishes January 2026 is not that the trying worked better. It is that he articulates a new relationship to persistence itself: “ce qui est ne peut pas être effacé par ce qui aurait dû être.”
