Dimitri
Dimitri is Steven’s neighbor, close friend, and business partner. He moved into Steven’s building sometime in late 2025 and is connected to the purchase of the Bellevue Apartment from Steven and Brigitte. The purchase was completed by Dimitri’s father, Jean-Marc Gaggioli, for 315,000 euros cash in early 2026.
Role in Steven’s recovery
In the January 2026 chronicle, Steven credits Dimitri’s arrival as the catalyst that broke the 3-MMC loop: “Ce shift a suffi pour casser la boucle.” The mechanism was not intervention but proximity. Shared interests, growing friendship, similar lifestyle, regular intellectual stimulation, and a peer who “ne juge pas mais qui élève” changed the environment around him.
The 3-MMC use stopped almost overnight after Dimitri arrived. It was replaced by MDPHP (fumée), which Steven describes as “paradoxalement plus fonctionnelle, plus compatible avec le travail.” The change was environmental rather than volitional.
In the February to March 2026 chronicle, Steven writes with unusual directness about Dimitri’s importance: “Il faut que je le dise clairement : Dimitri a été une présence quotidienne salvatrice.” He distinguishes this from a functional description and calls Dimitri “une vraie voix. Quelque chose qui ramène du sens, du rythme, de la mesure.” He adds: “une partie de ma propre continuité a tenu aussi parce qu’il était là.”
PartnerNote
Dimitri is co-founder of Project: PartnerNote. The company was registered with INPI in early 2026. The structure is Steven 51 percent, Président, and Dimitri 49 percent, Directeur Général. His technical contribution includes a generative music engine he calls “congruence.” Steven reviewed its architecture, found bugs, and opened GitHub issues.
The co-founder interview, a structured conversation about work methods, roles, tensions, and blind spots, marked a turning point that made PartnerNote “réellement structuré” rather than merely promising.
Circularity
Steven notes the recursion in the situation. His cofounder lives in his building. His cofounder’s father bought his mother’s apartment. The company they are building together emerged from that physical proximity. He quotes his own maxim: “La vie aura toujours plus d’imagination que toi.”
