Project: Ainternals
Ainternals is Steven’s internal/project name for the AI-assisted legal and internal-investigation tooling developed around the Jean-François Fèvre + Gilles SABART collaboration in 2024 and early 2025. The project emerged from concrete work: transcribing interview recordings, summarizing testimony, organizing case folders, building timelines, analyzing annexes, and experimenting with reusable legal/investigation report workflows.
Origin
Ainternals began as a service layer before it became a product idea. In March 2024, Steven offered Jean-François Fèvre a temporary transcription and analysis workflow based on Whisper and LLMs. The first proof involved recorded interviews, transcripts, and AI-generated analytical reports. The work quickly exposed both the usefulness of the approach and the limits of raw AI output: it could accelerate first-pass work, but professional correction remained necessary.
As more dossiers arrived, the workflow became more systematic. Steven created shared folders, DOCX exports, tracking sheets, Notion pages, transcript summaries, chronological tables, and prototypes for transcript editing.

Collaborators
Jean-François Fèvre was the primary operational user. He provided recordings, feedback, dossier context, and repeated requests for transcripts, summaries, and timelines.
Gilles SABART was the legal/process counterpart. He appears around legal templates, compliance, AIPD/RGPD, training workflows, source-backed research, and later as a direct user of Steven’s technical guidance.

Product pressure
By late 2024 and early 2025, Ainternals had moved beyond manual service work. Jean-François and Gilles were waiting for an application or interface that would make the workflow repeatable without Steven manually processing every file. Steven was building toward an upload/editor system and a more complete legal-investigation workflow.
The product direction was credible because it came from actual external demand. It also exposed a recurring failure mode: the prototype and service were valuable, but reliability, invoicing, responsiveness, and delivery cadence became decisive.
March 2025 crisis
In March 2025, the project became entangled with Steven’s financial pressure and executive dysfunction. Steven asked for an advance while the application was still unfinished. Jean-François and Gilles pushed back around responsiveness and delivery. They had already paid for work and were considering alternatives through Sebastian/Golem.
This episode is one of the clearest examples of Steven’s AI work reaching real-world usefulness while being undermined by shutdown, missed contact, and inability to stabilize delivery.
Status
Ainternals is documented as an internal/project name rather than a shipped product. It should be treated as a serious prototype and service attempt, not merely a side note inside the relationship.
